| it´s about my life in Bali and Surakarta. Of course this is my Subjective opinion or experience, and to have your experience just coming to Surakarta also well known as Solo! in General I prefer to stay in Surakarta, because the atmosphere in Solo, the real name of this old city given by The local inhabitants. Solo or Sura KARTA always remember me on 18 century culture and behaviour, especially if you got a Becak long the Jalan Brigadir Jendral Selamet Riyadi so you would see or event imagine the Boulevard from 18 century, It is something what Bali and Jakarta do not have it. In Other side Solo have already 5 Stars Hotel and modern Buildings, but this central of Javanese Culture are still keeping their respective tradition. I start to know Indonesian as I already stay quite a while in Solo, so don’t mention you know Indonesian, if you were not in Solo, other words don’t leave Indonesia before you stay minimal 3 day’s in Solo. The people are really polite event they would say their mind, but with a really prudent and they always show us that they have unlimited of time, some people from other part of Indonesian interpret this way of life as to slow or to feminine. Solo is the of Javanese Culture Centre, the other one is Jogya it´s about 60 km from Solo, but in Solo you would fine more than one Palaces from different Royal family, this is the unique of Solo and this all Palaces Build together the SPIRIT OF JAVA. |
